cannot Import DXF file into Fasant Silver v6.2.8_19.04.2017

Hello I am back again on my usage of Fasant Silver edition. I am trying to Import some 2D files of of planar structures, that are in DXF format. For some reason(?), the DXF files are not getting imported; the Command Window says ..."please wait" The operation never completes How do I attach the DXF ...

How to re-use a whole model geometry in a different Simulation

Hello I constructed a complicated model geometry for MoM, but i used the wrong template ( RCS) and i dont want that simulation. I just want to perform a regular S-parameter MoM simulation , but reuse the Geometry from RCS project. I cannot determine how to do that, from Help utility. How? best...

Fasant Silver 6.2.8.20 seems to solve Radiation calc

Hi,
I replied that Problem looks resolved in the other post ( crash, exit code 24 ) , by using Ver 6.2.8.20

SOLVED: Radiation Calc crashes exit code 24

Hello Javi, I am happy to report that Version 6.2.8.20 Silver appears to have corrected the crash-problem , when trying to Solve the Radiation calculation while the model has both Dielectric Volumes and PEC or Metallic volume objects included. I will keep testing the 6.2.8.20 Release, but thanks for...

New Fasant Silver for solve of Volume objects, Thank you

Thanks, Javi for the notification of the new Version.
I will certainly try re-sim my models with this Version.
Best, Dennis

Fasant Silver 6.2.8 Radiation calc with Dielectrics

Thanks Javi. I would not have easily known about the File Types..... (.msh versus .mcs). Concerning the radiation Map, only being displayed on the PEC structures, that seems odd. Are you saying that other metallic volumes (aluminum, steel, copper ) that are not "PEC" will NOT show current densities ...

Seriuos problem in Fasant Silver 6.2.8 Radiation calc with Dielectrics

Hello, There are some serious faults with 6.2.8 Silver, regarding Radiation calculations. When the 3D Model contains any Objects that are of materials Other than PEC, the simulation will crash. Besides dielectrics, of other metals are assigned ( aluminum, copper, etc) , the simulation will crash. Th...

Re: Radiation Calc crashes exit code 24, did Fasant find a fix?

Hello,

Is there any update on a Solution to the March 22nd post response by Javi :
"Some kind of incompatibility between dielectric volumes and Radiation Map. We are working to solve the problem."

I am anxious to find a solution from me to get RAD patterns and Current Densities

best Dennis
